Jeka Arnold

Emerging artist Jeka Arnold creates artwork derived from imagery influenced by biological research. Working from the microscopic, Arnold’s canvases and collages are suggestive of landscapes, intricate fabric patterns and/or even aerial photographs. In installation, these works attempt to challenge the viewer to briefly disregard the normative associations of scientific research imagery and to examine this imagery as an intimate and sensory experience.
