Edna Islia Cabalo
artist, scientist, photographer (hobby) and trekker

I have a BSc in Science and Fine Art certificate with Faculty of Extension University of Alberta and I have attended many art workshops.

My thoughts, inspirations and painting techniques vary on a day to day basis! It all depends on my sentiment and the subject matter at that particular moment. My style ranges from realism to impressionism, and my media ranges from oil, charcoal, pastels, and acrylic to encaustic to provide me with a whole new set of insights and ideas to help me achieve my goals. With my scientific background I enjoy observing, analyzing and experimenting before my ideas materializes into an image.

I have diverse subject matter – figurative, portraits, landscapes, seascapes, still life, flowers and architectural.
