Jeannette Egan

Currently I am completing my BFA at the University of Alberta specializing in Painting and Drawing. I have always been drawn to figurative work, and really enjoy working in this genre. I find people and especially children fascinating because of the sincerity in the expression of their feelings.

In my current body of work I want to explore painting children. I want to mirror their honest nature, with honesty to the medium and mark, in the way that they are being depicted.
