Donna Langlois

I was born and raised in Edmonton and have been painting and drawing most of my life. After taking a break to raise two daughters, my passion was renewed when I tried doing portraits in coloured pencil. In 2002 I turned to acrylic paints as my medium of choice and have tried different subject matters. After battling two different types of cancer from 2004-2006, the content of my paintings became much more personal and mostly from my imagination. Recently I have been adding collage elements to my paintings and have gained a lot of enjoyment from that aspect. I love what I do and I truly enjoy each day.
