Art transports me to a world below the surface of everyday conscious. Inspiration is drawn from simple everyday objects that often remain anonymous and unacknowledged in present day landscapes.

Objects are resurrected in an attempt to renew their purpose in an environment fraught with disposable objects.

I begin by transforming watercolor paper into a fluid and colorful backdrop. The first layer is created by liberally applying colorful acrylic inks. Once dry, charcoal drawing, erased and redrawn, colored pastels for a final touch, eventually the piece takes on a life of its own, guiding the hand shaping the vision.
