Marlena Wyman
Marlena Wyman was born in southern Alberta and has lived in Edmonton for over thirty years. In her work, she explores the relationships between human anatomy and botany, memory and mortality, and our connection with the earth. Her current work has grown to embrace the subjects of healing and our vital ties with nature.
The focus of this series is the heart & circulatory system and the brain & nervous system and the plants that have health and healing properties for these areas. This series is also an homage to the work of early medical illustrators.
