Lyndal Osborne

Comprised of two significant works by Lyndal Osborne, Garden & Archipelago, this nationally travelling exhibition makes its only stop in Edmonton at Artist Run, Harcourt House Arts Centre.

Lyndal Osborne, the artist/gardener/biologist transforms existing materials into new realities that speak to an intense relationship with her immediate surroundings. Hers is a profound meditation on life cycles, mortality, creation and destruction, as well as our relationship with nature and its expression through common place things manipulated into accessible objects for those considering her work. The resulting installations challenge us to question scientific assertions, to be inspired by the garden and to realize that "they" are actually “us.”
