Guidelines for Digital Visual Support Material Submissions

Important Notice: Candidates submitting digital support material that does not correspond to the following guidelines may result in an incomplete submission application, resulting in a withdrawal from the jury review.
- Digital support material is viewed using an LCD projection system to the exhibition jury
- Excess support material will not be accepted or shown to the exhibition jury
- Ensure that you submit a detailed Image List for CD-ROM/DVD submissions (Slide List for slide submission)
- 10 – 15 images maximum
- Submit slides OR digital images – Not a combination of both formats
- Each CD-ROM or DVD must be clearly labeled with your name
Specifications:
- Submit only MAC compatible files
- Submit .jpeg or .pdf files only (all jpeg or all pdf – not a combination of both)
- Submit a resolution of 96 dpi files only
- Submit a maximum of 1024 x 768 pixel files
- Submit files of 500K (0.5MB) maximum
- Submit RGB or SRGB colour mode files only (no CMYK)
Label each file image with a number and title as follows:
- The first nine images must begin with a zero (e.g. 01artwork.jpg... 02painting.jpg... 12sculpture.jpg)
- Do not use any special characters or symbols or punctuation in the file name (e.g.#/-@}…etc.)
For Video Files:
- Maximum of one video no longer than 5 minutes
- Submit a file that can be accessed through one of the following programs: QuickTime, Flash Player or Shockwave
- Note: If you are submitting both images and video, you MUST remove 5 images (maximum 15 images total)
Dont's
- Do not submit PC files that are not MAC compatible
- Do not submit any compressed files in any format
- Do not submit any files by email
- Do not submit any files requiring downloading and/or installing of software, plug-ins, extensions or other executables
- Do not submit any type of presentation files (e.g. PowerPoint) or any internet hyperlinks
- DO NOT submit any other application requirements on your CD or DVD (hardcopies must be provided separately)
