Submissions
Proposals must include all of the following:
- C.V.
- Artist's/ curatorialstatement
- Project description/proposal including gallery space you are applying for
- 10 – 15 good quality digital images of recent work *refer to digital images link for guidelines*
- Slide list including: title, dimensions, medium, and date
- Any other relevant support material including press clippings, audio/video tape or CD/ROM.
NOTE: Curriculum vitae (C.V.), artist statement, plan of activity and slide list must be submitted in hard copy AND digitally as a writable Word or Open Office document. Files must be Mac compatible. NO PDF’s.
- self-addressed, stamped envelope if you wish to have your package returned
- Artists should have demonstrated at least 2 years commitment to studio work
*Incomplete proposal packages will NOT be considered*

Harcourt House pays CAR/FAC fees of $1750.00 for the Main Gallery exhibitions and $400.00 based on a solo Front Room show.

The Front Room
The Front Room is a space to showcase new work fresh out of the studio, experimental work in progress, timely projects, or to gain experience in mounting an exhibition. Harcourt House accepts ongoing proposals for the Front Room and, as such, there is no fixed submission deadline. Submission requirements are the same as those for the Main Gallery.
Main Gallery
Our programming deadlines for the Main Gallery are June 30 and November 30. Our programming overview is to present challenging and contemporary work from local, national and international artists.
